Privacy Policy

Blue Corona (“us”, “we”, “our”) provides digital marketing services for our clients (“you”, “your”). We value your privacy and the privacy of your customers. This Policy Informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Services and our Applications.

 

As part of our digital marketing services, we track [BB1] your customer interactions across various marketing channels and sources, and tracking of engagements such as call tracking, form, chat, and schedulers. We leverage the corresponding marketing and other platforms for the data gathered during tracking.

 

We own and operate our proprietary Analytics Platform (“Polaris”), that provides our employees and your company with performance metrics and outcomes from the Blue Corona services through Polaris. These metrics are collected through tracking and the various marketing and other platforms that collect this data and are used to detail the performance.

 

By using the Polaris platform, you are acknowledging and accepting this privacy policy and our practices described in this policy, and on our website.

 

Collecting Information

Company Information

 

In order to setup tracking and reporting, we will collect your company credentials that are necessary to connect to marketing and other platforms that feed information into Polaris. We also collect any information related to locations, your company, your employees, marketing campaigns, and other information necessary, solely with the intent to deliver our services and provision, configure, and setup Polaris to enable it to extract and/or calculate key performance metrics and outcomes.

 

Personal Information

 

We do not connect any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) about you, your company, or your employees beyond what is necessary to create a user account and login credentials in our system.

 

When your customers engage with your company using the systems we provide and/or manage on your behalf, including marketing call tracked phone lines, web forms, webchats, schedulers, and other engagement mechanisms you contract with us to help provide marketing services, we will ask for personal information you authorize us to collect. This includes:

 

  • Name, address where service is needed, other relevant addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and/or means of contact that are necessary for you to provide services to your customers. We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) unless you expressly authorize us to do so as part of contracted services.

 

  • Information about your device, network, internet connection,  such as your IP address(es), MAC address, other device ID (UDID), device type, operating system type and version, and browser type and version.

 

  • Information about your customer’s usage of your website, including the pages and files viewed and the referrerURL and exit pages.

 

  • Information about your customer’s calls to us, including caller ID, phone numbers selections you make, and call recordings.

 

  • Information your customers may fill or provide through online forms, webchats, schedulers, and other engagement mechanisms.

 

  • Other information your customers provide or create, such as comments on on articles and blogs or posts in community forums, if these are setup for you and managed by Blue Corona.

 

  • Information that we may collect and persist in Cookies to personalize the Polaris experience for you and your employees.

 

Marketing Information

 

Polaris collects Marketing Information from across our client’s accounts and aggregates this data in the following ways:

 

  • If your company is owned by a corporate entity, is part of a franchise network, or part of any cooperative, your company data is aggregated to provide performance metrics and outcomes at the aggregated level (i.e., at the level of the corporate entity, franchisor, or cooperative controller).
  • Your marketing data is aggregated anonymously across the global pool of collected data to provide insights on the performance metrics and outcomes across, but not limited to, industry domains, regions, company affiliations, and company size.

 

Using Information

 

Blue Corona processes the information we collect with consent and/or as reasonably necessary to inform our Platform and Services, operate our business, and for other legitimate commercial and business purposes. These may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Personal information collected is provided, per your authorization, to your company and/or your agents, and others you direct us to for follow-up and the delivery of your products and services for your customers and operate your business.

 

  • Marketing information collected is ingested to provide you with performance metrics and outcomes through the Polaris platform.

 

  • Aggregated information collected is ingested anonymously; these globally anonymized performance metrics and outcomes are used for service analysis, insights, marketing, and other legitimate commercial activity. No personal or company data is identifiable in the aggregated data.

 

Disclosure and Sharing of Information

 

We may disclose information we collect to:

 

  • Our subsidiaries and affiliates.

 

  • Our contractors and  other third parties who support our business and are bound by contractual obligations to keep information confidential and only use it for the purposes for which it was disclosed to them.

 

  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all Blue Corona's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Blue Corona about our Website users is among the assets transferred.

 

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide the information.

 

  • For any other purpose disclosed by Blue Corona when you provide the information.

 

  • To any party you direct us to share, with your consent.

 

We may also disclose information we collect:

 

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

 

  • To enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.

 

  • To effectuate the purposes set forth in how we use Information

 

  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Blue Corona, our customers or others.

 

We do not sell, trade, or rent the Personal Data we collect, and we forbid our service providers from selling Personal Data they receive from us or otherwise collecting or for processing on our behalf, and we limit their use of that Personal Data to that which is necessary to perform the services we have asked of them, or as otherwise required by law.

 

 

Protecting Information

 

Blue Corona generally follows accepted industry standards when it comes to protecting the information you submit to us, and that we collect, both during transmission and once we receive it. We use appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we collect, ingest, or make available through the Polaris Platform.

Data Retention

 

How long we retain your Personal Data depends on the type of data and the purpose for which we process the data. We will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

 

 

Browser Cookies

 

We may use "cookies" to enhance your experience in Polaris. A cookie is a piece of data placed on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes by your web browser that may sometimes track information about you. You may choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you do so, note that some parts of Polaris may not function properly. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any PII.

 

 

Third Party Websites and Platforms

 

Blue Corona may use third-party platforms in providing our services and link to Websites that may contain links to third-party Websites and Platforms or may utilize framing techniques to serve content to/from our partners while preserving the look and feel of your website and our application. If you or your customers submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by that third party's privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit or is linked with your website.

 

 

Privacy Policy Changes

 

Blue Corona may make changes to this Privacy Policy at our discretion. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. By using our applications, you acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

 

 

Your Consent

 

By using Polaris, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use Polaris. Your continued use of the Polaris Application following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
