Overview:

The Polaris ServiceTitan Business Attribution Adapter is engineered to create a connection between your marketing efforts and tangible business results. Marketing attribution data is linked to ServiceTitan calls, jobs, and revenue with this integration. This offers a comprehensive view of your marketing funnel from initial impressions right through to revenue generation and includes metrics that capture various stages in the funnel. You can also access conversion rates are also available to help identify areas of focus to enhance value and effectiveness. The current version of the adapter does business attribution based upon inbound calls to marketing tracked lines. 

 

Blue Corona's advanced session-based call tracking techniques enhance marketing attribution by associating specific call numbers with particular channels or campaigns. These call numbers are known as Blue Corona Marketing Tracked Lines or simply Blue Corona Tracked Lines. All inbound calls made to these Marketing Tracked Lines are periodically matched to inbound call records in ServiceTitan using a specialized matching algorithm. Results are displayed in the Polaris Portal based upon the relevant values selected in the Global Filter. This connection aligns marketing attribution with the job and revenue details in ServiceTitan.

It's important to recognize that the way ServiceTitan is configured and how jobs are linked to calls within it might influence the results you see. Since ServiceTitan handles the connections between calls, jobs, and invoices, alterations in these relationships in your business process (such as using a standard job code for planned jobs that are later converted to actual codes for service assignment) could cause the connection between two jobs to be lost, potentially leading to incorrect estimates. One way that ServiceTitan handles linking jobs and calls is that jobs that occurred in the past can be linked to a new call from that same customer. To adjust for this, our adapter only counts jobs for matched calls where the job created date occurs on the same date or later than the call. The default limit for how long after a call a job can be created and still attributed to that call is 30 days, which matches ServiceTitan's standard attribution window.

 

Adapter Metrics:

The following metrics are available as part of the ServiceTitan Business Attribution adapter.

 

 

Update Schedule:

The default configuration of this adapter is set as follows:

  • Scheduled Ingestion:       Every 24 hours.
  • Net Change:                    Weekly.
  • Historical Ingestion:         1 year.

The weekly ingestion updates any invoice changes to reflect accurate information in Polaris.
