 Values of Interest.

Overview:

Metrics are a way of measuring values of interest. Metric values are usually measures at time intervals and are used to track progress, identify problems, and make decisions. Metrics have many units such as counts, percentages, currency, ratios, or time-units. Examples of metrics include Ad Spend, Impressions, Clicks, Leads and Cost / Lead.

Metric values are either received as part of an integration with a data source or platform or calculated based upon data retrieved by multiple platforms. Polaris organizes metrics to enable views over time, period over period comparisons, or grouping into higher level metrics. Examples of grouping of metrics maybe its value across multiple locations, businesses, or even NOAA regions.
